Aluminium packaging recycling rate in Germany at new record level of 90.4 %
(January 29, 2020) This leads to a reduction of more than 610,000 tons greenhouse gases.
According to the most recent study by Gesellschaft für Verpackungsmarktforschung mbH (GVM), 120.7 kt of 133.5 kt of aluminium packaging used in Germany were recycled in 2018 (2017: 107.5 kt).
